Technical Implementation Engineer

Position Summary:

We are looking for an individual who began his/her career as a network engineer or software developer and who has gained significant experience working in a pre and post enterprise sales technical environment. From presenting to evangelizing prospects around a particular product/solution set, to architecting the solution, to defining the tasks / deliverables / timelines and crafting a Statement of Work.  You will be working in a fast-paced, small team environment to support our growing list of clients.

Responsibilities Include:
  •          Interface with diverse teams at all levels, both within the company and with clients.
  •          Pre and post-sale technical and product evangelism activities.
  •          Represent our company as a customer-facing expert on mobile applications and integration.
  •          Train customers, VARs, and systems integrators on the product line.
  •          Plan and execute customer Proof-of-Concept implementations in order to drive product adoption and increase revenue.
  •     Interface with Product Management, Sales, & Engineering teams in order to provide real-life implementation experiences that can be translated into products/feature enhancements.
Qualifications:
  •          5-8 years experience in the pre-sale and post-sales support of distributed, scalable and secure .NET server and web based enterprise applications preferably in the Financial Services industry.
  •          Microsoft MCSE certification or related experience and capabilities.
         BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and iPhone knowledge and experience required.
  •          Ability to setup and install Microsoft Exchange environment without assistance.
  •          Experience with enterprise archiving and storage systems.
  •          Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience. 
  •          Software development, network engineering experience or knowledge of the following a big plus; - C#.NET 3.5, 2.0 and 1.1, Windows Services, Message Processing System, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WCF, WPF, Linux, and Open Source Libraries, Web Services (SOAP, REST, new WCF capabilities), Email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP, MAPI and X-headers), IIS 6.0 Administration (site deployment, application pools, etc.), SQL Server 2000/2005 (SSMS, complex tSQL, stored procedures, SQL Reporting Services, etc.).
  • Salary, plus incentive bonus commensurate with your experience.  Additional benefits include health insurance, vacation, and opportunity for travel.
