The CommonDesk Compliance Solution can easily scale to support thousands of employees while maintaining a consistent level of enterprise features and functionality. This is accomplished by scaling horizontally with multiple servers in each city. As this diagram presents, many BlackBerry-centric organizations choose to mirror one Compliance Engine server for each BES server. Other companies have their BlackBerry users on two or more BES servers while choosing to archive their information to a single Compliance Engine server. Additional features allow multiple Compliance Engine server instances to be installed on a single physical machine. In the diagram below, two Compliance Engine failover instances are hosted on a single physical machine.
